Product description and use method of PE anticorrosive tape

Polyethylene anticorrosive tape is mainly applied to the external surface corrosion protection of buried steel pipelines for oil and natural gas transmission; water supply and drainage and gas transportation in chemical industry and urban construction. The rubber layer is butyl rubber with excellent aging resistance, sealing and insulation effect.

How to use polyethylene anticorrosion tape
Remove rust, weld, burr, oil, dirt and dry. Manual and descaling should be up to St3 grade, mechanical descaling should be in accordance with Sa2 grade in SYJ 4 0 0 7-8 6 .
Evenly brush figure primer (manual or mechanical)
The primer can be wrapped when the table is dry, and the wrapping should be in accordance with the grade of anticorrosion layer and structural requirements.

Storage and transportation of polyethylene anti-corrosion tape
The tape should be protected from exposure to the sun and rain during transportation to prevent crushing and deformation.
In the transportation or storage by 5 ℃ below freezing, need to be stored at about 25 ℃ for 48 hours, before construction (otherwise easy to degumming).
Should be stored in a cool, temperature 5 ~ 30 ℃, temperature <75 ℃ warehouse, the period of 12 months, and away from heat sources and open flames.
