Methods of Application
1) Surface treatment: Remove rust, welding spatter, burr, oil or filth and keep it clean and
Dry. If the rust is removed manually, the effect should reach St3; If mechanically, the effect should reach Sa2 and comply with SYJ4007 86.
2) Primer coating: Specialized matching primer is supposed to be used. During the process keeping it away from the fire, mix it evenly and use clean brush, roller or other mechanical method to coat it. The appropriate primer quantity applied is 12m2/L by manual coating, and 20m2/L by mechanical coating.
3) 5 to 10 minutes after the prime coating surface dried, the wrapping can be started.
4) Back to the duct: After passing all the inspection, it can be put back to the duct.
XUNDA T500 Polypropylene Coating System
The base material of this product is a unique modified polypropylene woven fiber cloth, and butyl rubber modified bitumen is used as the anti-corrosion adhesive layer.
Polypropylene anti corrosion Bitumen Tape have the characteristics of easy construction, impact resistance, aging resistance, tensile resistance, UV radiation resistance, and high bond strength.
PE Bitumen Tape is widely used in oil, natural gas, chemical industry, urban construction of water supply and drainage, oil and gas, gas transmission steel pipeline and steel buried storage tanks of the external corrosion and repair works.
